Clutch flywheel oppinions/options

I'm looking to do my clutch soon. I am pretty sure I want the ACT heavy duty street (whatever is a stage 1). I also want a lightened flywheel, but I'm not sure who makes one, Fidenza maybe? I have also heard of people using the 5th gen clutch, is that just mainly for a stock replacement, or would the ACT be a better idea?

I also need to do a rear main seal and axle seals while the trans is out. I can find the rear main easily, but I was told I would probably need a crank sleve or something because if the crank is grooved the new seal will just get torn up, but I can't find it. also having a little trouble with the axle seals, but pepboys or any auto store should be able to get those.

Finally I was thinking of using Royal Purple in the trans. Anyone have experience with it? Is it really worth the added cost, or is there a better than stock oil for a better deal.

Thanks in advance
MAT

Fidanza, JWT, clutchmasters all make lightweight flywheels. My fidanza clutch and fly should be here this week

I believe popular belief is that the 5th gen clutch is a bit stronger than the 4th gen, and therefore would be a good clutch for a car with a couple bolt ons, while still providing stock-like feel.

Also, I don't know about royal purple. Most people rave about Amsoil MTG GL-4 in their maximas. Whatever lube you get, just make sure it's GL-4 only.

If you are staying n/a the 5th gen clutch is fine. I would stay 5th gen clutch and 5th gen pressure plate with bolt-ons. The 5th gen also has stock pedal feel, the ACT stage 1 has a very firm pedal and can be unforgiving at times.
