Yes, order from them. Ask for Scott if you can. He hooked me up and a friend with 8 Toyo Proxies 4's and $5 for the s/h on the entire order!! Tell him you're from maxima.org and all your friends recommended him. See what he can do for you.

Good to know they came through.

I recently bought from discounttiredirect.com and everything went smoothly also. They also do free shipping.

My order took about a week to ship because I bought during a huge sale, but during normal times they should be quick to deliver.

I bought a pair of General Exclaim UHP's from them back in October (other pair bought off fleabay). Quick shipping and cheaper than Tire Rack for 235/40/18.

i ended up ordering a set of general exclaim uhp's in 215/55/16 for $280 out the door. price was the same per tire on tirerack but the shipping wouldve bumped it up to approx. $335.

ive ordered from both tirerack and discounttiredirect.com and both provided great service i just hope treadepot can do the same.

update....

i received an email this afternoon stating that the generals are out of stock.

the one thing i didnt like is that they already charged my credit card for the order. i hope this doesnt turn into a problem with me not getting a refund.

I found this post even though it is old, I thought I would add to it. I know TireRack is the big fish out there for online tire buying. But doing my research for my last set of tires, I came across www.treadepot.com. I gave them a call and talked to the manager for about 20 mins. He seemed knowledgable and he didnt just treat me as a sale but as a person. He wanted to get me in the best tire he could. I never got that feeling when I shopped at tirerack.

I am a big advocate of customer service and whenever I get it I let everyone know! People only tend to let people know of their bad experiences.
