Anyone in ever had water leaks in the Trunk

Hey Guys, Anyone ever had any water leaks in the trunk like wen its raining the first half of the of the trunk is wet but not the back part. Ever since its been raining so much my trunk has been getting soaked inside and i had to take out my woofer and amp. I check the rubber seal around the trunk and it seems fine. And whats funny abt it is the front part of th carpet is soaked but not the walls of the trunk or the trunk hood wen u lift it up.

pull the carpet back and look, check the sides anyways, the carpet there doesnt touch the walls, look into the spare tire jack area, and on the opposite side

i had this happen on another car and the fix will probly not apply here since you dont know where its coming from yet

Only real way to fix the problem is to take everything out of your trunk, including your spare and dry it completely. Then with someone INSIDE the trunk with a flashlight, wet down the outside really well with a constant stream of water. *NO NOZZLE*
Mark the spot or spots, and fix the leak. Its most likely one of your tailights which is an easy fix

NO dont do that. You will make it worse. Do what I said and it will be gone forever.

If you just start putting silicone everywhere you will not fix the leak. You need to find it first, then take off whats leaking, clean BOTH areas, and silicone it up

This is same way body shops do it.

Go to a local auto parts store. They will tell what stuff you should use.
