What brand CV Boot Kit did you use?

I am just wondering for all of you who have changed your CV's recently, or in the past, what brand you used. Also state how they have held up and any problems with them. I just did both my outers and spent $13.50 for each boot kit from NAPA. So far so good.

Ummmm,. replacing the axle, assuming you want a quality one, is alot more money. ftr they really don't go bad that often @ stock ride height unless it is driven around for awhile w/torn boot.

Interesting about the OEM boot-kit

Because only my passenger side had ripped (both sides were dryrotted) and it was just beginning to leak out. The car was not driven in crappy weather with the torn boot which means that nothing could have gotten into the axle. And plus, if there were any small contaminates mixed in, they would have been disposed when the axle grease was changed and the axle was cleaned thouroghly. $27.00 plus labor is much more affordable than $300+ for Raxles.

I've changed boots and replaced the axles.

The amount of work required to change the boots + risk of something not working right makes it a waste. You can get a decent price on reman axles from raxles.com so that's definitely the way to go.
