Lifter noise on startup tricks?

My 95 Max has just a bit of lifter noise on start-up. Only lasts maybe a second once the oil gets flowing through the engine. I know its not anything to worry about. Anyone know of any tricks to help it not do that?

An older mechanic buddy I know puts a tiny bit of ATF into the crankcase on older cars and says it helps, but anyone have any other tricks?

It's not lifter noise, ROFL. It's timing chain rattle, ignore it or install the updated tensioners/guides.
