WTB: cheap hard-drive (120 g ?)
WTB: cheap hard-drive (120 g ?)
i got a lot of music and other random crap - probably about 200gigs, but i could trim it down to around 100. basically im paranoid that someday my 500gig hd is gonna crash and im going to lose all my hard work.
i went to best buy the other day to check some out. i seen a bunch that were like 90 and 100 bux, but they are all the new high speed USB, self powering types, which will not work on my computer. i need the independent powering type (with a seperate cable for power).
so if you have a CHEAP and GOOD and preferably newish hard-drive thats 100gigs or over, tell me what you want for it.

I have a 160GB IDE HDD, is internal though but you can use an enclosure with AC adapter like this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817716025
And is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and it has it's own AC adapter, so you don't have to worry about self-power through the USB 2.0.
LMK if you are interested
