has anyone notice the dash lights not as bright as before??
I30 2000. It seems the "fluorescent" dash lights are not as bright during the day as they once were. Has anyone else notice this? Are there bulbs behind the dash that go out?
you've read my mind ma man i noticed it this morning and i also have the same model and same color just as you, but then i thaught mayb its because of the crazy cold weather we are having today at new york. are your 9006 eurolites are nice and bright and get a lot of light to the road?

Getting back to the dash cluster lights, mine seems especially dim on the left (gas gauge) side. How about yours??
y did it melt? The temp of the bulb way higher than stock? Anyway mine the whole cluster is a LOL dim but its not that noticable like my mom didn't notice it, it wasonly me but no big deal 1 more year and I'm getting a manual sport car.
The cold kills my car. The windows take longer to go up, the windshield sprayers don't work, the steering wheel audio buttons don't work until they are heated, the list goes on and on.
Do you notice they do funny things in the cold like when you hit the volume up button, the channel changes?
You are correct. In general, I guess fluorescent lights do not operate as brightly in cold weather. I don't know exactly why, but I Googled info about fluorescent lights and it lists this as one of their drawbacks.
yeah cold weather makes our cars crazy few days ago when it was crazy cold my automatic climate control would turn off the fan i have to put it on manual mode and once the inside got warmed up it was all fine and i was smiling cus lux cars are wierd. lol
