yup, custom it'd be.
you'd have to cut and/or drill some holes at the least.
or you could have some fun and make a fiberglass enclosure for it

i put 6x9s in my rear deck that way...

your stock speaker hole fits a 6 in round speaker. i forgot what the depth is. if you wanted to install some 6x8, you'd have to do some cutting and drilling, you are gonna want to use some soundproofing stuff around the speaker too to get a nice snug fit. if you have a 6x8 in there but it doesnt fit well,it wont sound any better than a nice 6" speaker that fits perfect. ur gonna want to look for shallow 6x8 speakers so you wont have clearance problems. good luck.
