You don't have to take it to a shop to find out what offset you have. If you don't find the answer online then you just have to take one wheel off the car. Offset is just the distance from wheel centerline to the hub mounting face. Simply measure the wheel width (W) and then measure the distance of hub surface to inboard side of the wheel (B). Divide (W) by 2 for centerline (C). Then subtract (C) from (B) and that is your offset. To convert inches to mm multiply by 25.4

it's 18x8 by Tecno Motor Works...and oops..i don't even know wat the name of my wheels. But anyhow, i know the rim comes in a few different offsets...so i still can't determine the offset of mine.

yeah, i was doing that without taking my wheels off. However wat's strange is that the wheel measures 8.5 inch wide while the wheel is suppose to be 18x8s. I measured my brother's 18x8 wheels he just bought few days ago and it still comes out to 8.5 inch.

Remove one wheel and you'll probably find the offset stamped into the metal on the backside of the wheel.

Send a picture of the wheel and the size to the company, and I am sure they could tell you.

i just looked up the rim in a jap catalog, it's called Scundera, and with 18X8 it comes with 38, 40 and 48 offsets. I don't think the company could tell how much is the offset by just by the pic and size. I guess i just have to do it the hard way, take off a rim and measure.
