I need a close up pic of what holds the upper radiator hose in place. Mine rubs against the cruise control servo. I have seen pics of the bay in here and it looks like there is something that holds is below the cruise control. I need a closer pic so I can see what I am looking for next time I go to the JY.(hose are usually already gone)

 

I don't think there is a upper hose holder on the vg,or at least not on my wifes vg..

Your hose may just be worn out causing it to sag down onto the servo.

Ok,my vg doesn't have the strap, but it also doesn't rub the cruise servo either.

 

There is strap there, but it still shouldn't rub. You can see it between the distributor and cruise servo. Do you have the correct hose?

 

Yeah, when i replaced that hose i did not recall a strap on there, im pretty sure mine doesnt have it, but also theres no problems with it rubbing anything... but then again the old one had wat looked like marks from rubbing and then it burst...

 

it is a brand new hose. It is shaped correctly but rubs against the cruise control. I cut a piece of the old hose and covered it where it rubs until I can find that little arm.
