rough idle injectors????

rough idle injectors????

ok on to the next problem seems this car is testing me!!! i had less issuse with my VG all of a sudden doing a trans and manifold studs doesnt seem so bad. any how i have a rough idle and it seems to smoth out i read somewhere that injectors are to blame but i cant find it seems everytime i fix something with this VE something else pops up is there an end to this maddness is it possible to enjoy this car like my VG????

oops

it smooths out when i goose the pedal and it seems to run rich also.

test injector ohms?

unplug maf test?

any coil packs cracked?

As he said, you know you can ohm the back three injectors using the "plug" by the intake plenum, right?

coolant temp sensor? (in addtion to the items mentioned by mr mold)

coils were all replaced and mass also but old mass is still good as the last problem was the coils, i can try old mass and see what happens.

Just unplug the current maf, start up car, see if the idle smooths out.

+1. An often overlooked, cheap, and easy to replace part. I had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with me VE after I had tried everything. $20 and 20 minutes later, she ran PERFECT.

we are talking about a totally different engine mine has dual over head cams (DOHC) very different mine is a VE yours is a VG.Also you may want to start your own thread some people dont take kindly to new people asking quetions in other peoples threads (i have been there).to answer some of what you asked i suggest you get the engine light checked there will be a code that your on-board computer will give out and tell you what is wrong try like advanced auto parts or auto-zone they sometimes do it free or see your local garage .

i could agree on that for both my car and possibly the newbie with the VG.as for me its just too cold to play doctor right now lol.
