5th Gen Wheel Stud Knurl Size?
5th Gen Wheel Stud Knurl Size?
I am ordering Extended Studs for the installtion of 20mm H&R rear spacers and
I thought I was set on what to get but am getting quite confused on what the Knurl Size is for a 5th Gen?
I know I need 12x1.25 studs (and for w/e length in my case 50mm shank) but what about for the knurl size?
For example these sites have essentailly the same 12x1.25 studs but various knurl sizes
12x1.25_50mm shank(20mm spacers)___13mm Knurl
example 1
and
12x1.25_50mm shank(20mm spacers)___14mm Knurl
example 2
last but not least
12x1.25_50mm shank(20mm spacers)___12.75mm Knurl
example 3
thanks

According to Courtesy's site, 4/5 gens use the 14.3mm knurl.
My VE actually uses both, depending on the production dates of the hubs. fronts are 14.3, factory original rear hubs used 13mm. replacement OE hubs uses 14.3. (and I only replaced one rear hub, so I have 3 hubs at 14.3 and 1 hub at 13... grrrr)
anyway, here's the elimination process:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/nismo/bolts/index.html
click on any of the parts in the box that says "fits anything with solid rear axle" (That's 4/5gen Maximas)
http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=40222-00005
doesn't specifically say Maxima on there, but it shows the others that do and they match up. I know for a fact my S14 uses 14.3mm in the front and it's on the list. Then if you look at the drawing, it shows the 14.3mm knurl on there.
