please help, i might be screwed!

Ok i'm working on stuff on my 1997 maxima SE and one of the things we were working on was the mod to always have your cruise control toggle switch on. Well we took off the cap and used the wire to put in the relay and it didn't work. But the worst part about it was when we put it all back together, not only did the cruise control not work, but it wont even turn on and the power windows don't work and the power sunroof don't work. We used a fuse detector and so far all of them are good. Any suggestions of what might of gone wrong and/or what I can do to fix this problem. this sucks!

Thanks,
Scott

So far all of them are good? Did you not test them all? Which have you tested?

What terminals did you wire up when you tried the mod?

I tested all the fuses underneath the steering wheel and they are all good. We also tested the fuses underneath the hood that we could by The battery, except those green ones that had a clear top, they didn't look like they were melted though. The terminal that we used to wire up the mod was the ASCD relay, like the mod on VQ forums said, but his fuse panel looked different, must be a different year car, anyways we tried many vairations with that wire and the final result was we have no power windows, no sunroof and no cruise control and i don't know what my next step to do is

FUSE #12 7.5 amp under dash is probably blown. Take a good look, remove it make sure you are looking at that fuse and not some other.

I wish I had a dime for every time I have heard that all fuses are OK but one or more end up being blown.

Fuse #12 protects the cruise control , power windows don't work and the power sunroof circuits. I bet door locks and defroster don't work also.

you are the man! Thank you very much. We used a fuse tester on all the fuses and apparently that fuse tester sucks because we tested that fuse #12 and it showed it was good, we took it out and the fuse was toast, replaced the fuse and bam, it worked! Thank you very much for you help. I love this club!
