How to fix clutch chatter

Searching for threads on clutch chatter beings up a lot of threads but little in the way of how to fix it.

I currently have a 3.5 swap, Stillen flywheel with 5 speed timing ring, Exedy stage 2 clutch, matching PP and throw out bearing.

I have terrible chatter. it chatters up to 3500 rpm in furst, 3000 in 2nd and almost as much in 3rd. I've broken in the clutch for almost 700 miles with no improvement.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get rid of chatter? I might even pull the flywheel and Clutch and get them balanced. If you have suggestions post them here. Thanks.

Clutch chatter only happens when you are "slipping" the clutch in first gear at initial take off..So my question is, are you continuing to slip your clutch through all the other gears? Or is it chattering even when the clutch pedal is out, and you are in gear?

Coremanx--I installed the clutch when I did my engine swap

Greeny--It happens more when I slip it, obviously. But I have to do that in at least 1st gear or it's almost impossible to do a smooth take off from a stop.

Yeah, thats my point..You should only be slipping the clutch at initial takeoff, not in any other gears. If you are slipping your clutch throughout the other gears, then you found your problem right there, you are overheating the clutch/flywheel surface by slipping the clutch in any other gears.

What do mean by "more"? Is the car chattering even when it's in a gear/w the clutch pedal out? need more details here.
