Is this a safe jack spot?
Is this a safe jack spot?
This is where my car was jacked up for a good three hours yesterday, along with some getting in and out of the car to start it for a radiator flush. I'm going to swap transmission fluid tomorrow and wondering if this is harmful (and how much I harmed my car if it is).

I'm fairly new to understanding suspension.. but isn't the control arm that large flat looking piece that attaches to the silver bracket in the picture? I thought that was the control arm bushing..
jack from the center front jacking point (crossmember) and then put jackstands on the side jacking points under the doorsill at the bottom of the rocker panels.
It's also in your owner's manual, if you have one.

For the record - I didn't jack the car up yesterday, but I'm working on it tomorrow; so I figured I'd double check. Thanks!
Haha sorry; let me rephrase.
The car was jacked up, but I didn't actually jack it up - the person helping did. I came out of the house and it was jacked up. I asked about the jack point, and he said it was fine. I just wanted to double check.
Thank you, that answered my question.
