Is this a safe jack spot?

This is where my car was jacked up for a good three hours yesterday, along with some getting in and out of the car to start it for a radiator flush. I'm going to swap transmission fluid tomorrow and wondering if this is harmful (and how much I harmed my car if it is).

Control arm bushing.

You can lift there, though I would try to lift from below the lower strut mount or close to it.

you should have jacked from the correct location (cross member) and then used jack stands...

Though this was specific enough to warrant it's own thread..

I'm fairly new to understanding suspension.. but isn't the control arm that large flat looking piece that attaches to the silver bracket in the picture? I thought that was the control arm bushing..

jack from the center front jacking point (crossmember) and then put jackstands on the side jacking points under the doorsill at the bottom of the rocker panels.

It's also in your owner's manual, if you have one.

Yes I saw that tonight - which is why I made this post to make sure that didn't damage anything since I don't know what it is.

For the record - I didn't jack the car up yesterday, but I'm working on it tomorrow; so I figured I'd double check. Thanks!

it's the subframe mount. The control arm is the whiter more aluminum piece in the picture behind it. You did not cause any damage.

Thank you, that answered my question.
