Infiniti I30 Cefiro A32 Smoked 1 piece Headlights 95-99

Infiniti I30 Black A32 AngelEye CCFL Projector Headlights 95-99

Also where I can I find a new bumper without the space to put in a tag since I will be upgrading to the new cefiro tailight.

the cffl/projector lights are just retro fitted smoked cefiros.

rear bumper will have to be imported from a cefiro brougham or custom.

If you upgrade to bi-xenon, you will have to mod/cut the existing housing to acccept the b-xenon solenoid/mechanism.

I'm still wondering if there is a difference between the cefiro headlights and the cefiro projectors.

they are both the same headlights. the difference is the projectors have projectors added. its really not al that complicated. if you dont know what projectors are i suggest googling "projector retrofit".

oh ok, understandable. i you want to upgrade you should go with the regualr cefiro lights. upgarding isn't as simple as just replacing bulbs though. it will require customizing the housing to accomodate a bixenon assembly from another model. there is a lot of info on the hidplanet.com forums.

here is an example from a retrofit i am working on (single xenon lexus rx330 projectors with clear lens):

^^^ nice work in progress.. I'm doing the same but with the smoked ones..
I noticed you went to install the projector into the actual rear part of the headlights and not the bowl.. any reason why? ( btw, Im using TSX projectors and not RX330)..
how are you going to aim them?

ehhh... hopefully i'll be able to aim them on the car. lets just say i got a little ahead of myself, but the fit on the rx to cefiro was so perfect that i kind of figured they would be good. i made the mistake of sealing the first projector into the housing so that might have to be reworked.

all mistakes aside, the reason why i did it was to have the projector as far back as possible. imo a lot of retros loook bad (to me) because the proctor is pushed so far forward. i was going for an oem look so thats how i chose to do it.

So is this a project youre working on right now or another one thats taken the back seat to other "more important" projects?..i.e suspension, body-work, interior? I've been watching around for updates on your car, love the quality work being done.

this is a mod that took the back seat, and has recently come back to the table. i never bought bulbs/ballasts so i am collecting those things so i can aim and complete them. then when they are done i will most likely sell them. it dawned on me that because i am building my car to be so low at ride hieght having a defined cutoff is probably not the best idea. as of now the top of my headlight is around my knee without the bags installed. once bagged i am looking to be a few inches lower with ride hieght being ~1" higher than full low.

as for updates, the interior dying is 95% done, the suspensions will be done once i install the bags, brakes are done, currently working on electrical/sound deadening/plastic trim. nothing really picture worthy yet but when there is i will update my build thread.

thanks for the props!

definately keep us posted..
I'll try to post pics of my retro project as well eventually..
and yes, I agreed a lot of retros are done with the projector pushed so forward.. mine personnaly, I find not too bad, they are litterally sitting as far back as possible in the "bowl"..

I see you lost the function of your 194 bulb in the cefiros
