6th Gen Maxima Traps at 110MPH! 12.83ET My personal Best Ever!

I finally opened my Zex controller and cleaned the Nitrous and fuel filter as I suspected the nitrous filter was clogged and I made a change on one of the fitting and the end result was a beast coming out the hole spinning tires in 1st and second gear my first two passes sucked I ran a 13.5 and a 13.4. Needless to say I have to learn how to launch my car again so on my next three passes I feathered the throttle out the hole not my best 60' foot but my best Damn E.T. and Trap speed ever and I was still spinning out the hole on these three passes but not as bad as the previous two passes! So, once I get my launch back together I should good for a 12.6 or 12.7 pass.

1. 60' 2.108
E.T. 12.957
MPH 109.75

2. 60' 2.026
E.T. 12.970
MPH 109.05

3. 60' 2.039
E.T. 12.835
MPH 110.48

"Oops, you did it again!"

Me = speechless. Your times after the first 1/8 are beastly - lots of HP in there. Another great job.

Thanks! Now I have to figure out how launch her again so much torque coming off the line. I had traction issues on every pass.

How about 12-inch Hoosiers mounted on lightweight Mickey Thompson wheels? This is my game plan for this year.

(with my usual two stages of spray) Of course, the M&H slicks also do pretty well.

I dunno if these would help kevin007 - I never smoked tires like he does - of course, I haven't tracked my 3.5 yet, either. Maybe I can do that !!

Pictures help, anyway - and superlight 12" track slicks on superlight alloy wheels gotta be good, right?

I found that smoking them long actually hurts me because it is a drag and I think I'm causing a greasy like residue when I smoke im longer I've been smoking them for only two to three seconds and then dry hoping them and it seems like I been hooking a little better. Saves money also.

The Hoosiers are on M/T 15x10 - 13lbs each - 5 in backspace - rear-drive wheels. These suckars are light.

The M&H slicks are on Am. Racing 15x8 wheels - 4 1/2 " backspacing - rear-wheel drive as well.. They're around 18 lbs, I kinda remember.

Nice! Congrats on the times, Kevin. Any weight reduction done to your car? Just curious.

Btw, not sure if you remember, but I met you at the Pete Farrell dyno day, I was there with my son.

Thanks! I remember you, full trim no weight reduction. I added lowering springs about a 3 weeks ago, they seem to help on my launch.
