Looking to see if anybody has installed this yet. It didnt come with any mounting surfaces/hangers and the exhaust pipe doesnt line up. Did you all have to get it done at a shop or were you able to get it done yourselves.

I haven't bought this one before but have done a few custom mufflers before, doesn't seem too big of a deal, weld some hangers on there and you're good to go. If you don't have a welder then I suppose you'll need to bring it into a shop to have it put on. As long as theres enough room to fit, should be no problem.
get them off ebay. remus is pure quality! they are the best mufflers ive seen. I had one on my legend sounded excellent, no crazy raspy sound, no constant buing sound at highway speed. excellent muffler IMHO
+1billion
remus exhaust is used on german sports cars like porsche and also has ties to mercedes benz racing - there is no comparison
u'll never see a gt3 with megan exhaust thats for damn sure

It would just be like getting any other universal muffler installed... custom piping, hangers, etc. Unless you have another rear section you can sacrifice, ie. something for them to use the inlet pipe and hangers.
If I could justify 350 bucks for a muffler plus another 150 or so for the labor and materials, I'd consider getting a Remus. 500 bucks for an axle back is too rich for my blood, but that isn't the point of this discussion I guess.

I agree with puppet, I'm doing a custom exhaust and its from the y-pipe back its gonna cost maybe around 500 (3" FTW, and I'm doing the welding myself so no labor)
This is one exhaust puppet will never test out.

Considering the aging 5th, I can understand the negative opinions regarding our prices, I would like you all to see the following url for a brief explanation as to why REMUS is the market leader in exhausts around the globe:

I'd figure Joel woulda been there and done that already.
Hey thanks for taking the legs right out from under Jeff and selling me the Frankencar he was getting. Can't wait to get it in!

I thought that we've deteremined on here that mufflers don't effect performance. When I went from megan to franken, I felt as if my car had picked up some dispite the obvious addition of weight from the franken
