98 BOSE WIRING DIAGRAM

i have a 98 bose unit and am wondering if anyone has or know were i can get a wire diagram for this. some thing to tell me what color wire does what function. speakers,power,ect. thanx to nismos14 for the help he has given.

did you use the second set of colors?
I would use the pins as my guide, Nissan wasn't too keen on keeping the color coding of the wires consistent.
personally If you are retrofitting the radio into another car (I.E. your 3rd gen) I would get an aftermarket harness that goes into the radio itself, they have them available (I sell it for $10) and they use the standardized wire coloring on them.

I would just get :

it uses the standard color codes and will make life much easier
and this one:

will allow it to hook directly to the 3rd gens wiring with no cutting/ splicing necessary
they have matching color codes so just connect color to color of those 2 harnesses and you've got a plug and play setup, that can be installed clean and uninstalled cleanly.

Hi All,
I am a new user in to this forum..and its not allowing me to post a new thred.im from INDIA and i have bought a bose amplifier,speakers and a sub woofer from USA and got delivered.But im trying to understand various wires coming out of amplifier.Can some one help me please to guide me what wire goes to which devise..i can send the closeup pics of the wires if any could guide me with the mail id.
