anyone ever break an abs brake line?

I was being impatient while removing an axle and ended up pulling too hard on the abs rubber brake line. I saw a little drop of fluid pour down from the protective sleeve so i'm assuming somewhere it has a little crack or hole. I cant seem to find a replacement for this on any of my usual part websites.
Anyone know where to get this? I'm going to check the dealership next.

I assume you're talking about the secondary brake line, the one that runs from the caliper to the body?

dont they both run from the caliper to the body? Yes its the smaller line that disappears into a grommet on the body though.

I did that, got the replacement line from Checker, had it fixed in no time. Funny that you cant find it.

The ABS sensor line that you are referring to does not contain any fluid.

It is simply an electrical connection, although it is of course important.

As stated that is the ABS sensor wire not the brake line, it connects to a harness just on the other side of that grommet IIRC. Fluid wouldn't have been from that, and as long as you have no ABS code you should be set.

Just be sure that its the ABS wire, it doesnt connect to the caliper, it connects to the Knuckle/hub assembly.

thanks guys. I honestly thought that was another fluid line...wow I learn something new every....once in awhile. Thats weird that fluid came out of that thick protective sleeve...maybe water was just trapped in there or something? I'll go look at it again. If its just a wiring harness I am probably alright.
whew. one less thing to replace
