genral question about injectors

does the resistance really matter if the injector clicks? i guess what i am asking here is if the injector clicks should i even bother with testing the ohms?

It takes 30 seconds so I would do it anyway, personally.

Just remember that you're only testing the electrical capabilities of the injector, vs the physical; actually spraying the fuel, and doing so correctly.

well i did test all of them and all of them seem like they are out of spec. that is why i was wondering. some of them are consistant with others and some are totally diffrent. i know the fsm says like 13.5-17.5 @70f ohms(fbjc100) mine are like 40 or 50ohms @ room temp. so... maybe all of them are shot?

You must be doing something wrong when testing, it is highly unlikely that all your injectors died at one time..

injectors out of spec can still function, but they CAN destroy your computer.
it is possible for them all to be shot, but not terribly likely.

Arent 4th gen imjectors suposed to click. I thought that was normal. Mine usualy dose, especialy before the car warms up.

How can bad injectors destroy your computer?

yes they should click.
your computer is designed to work with a specific resistance. when the resistance is off you start damaging circuits in the computer. I've seen it happen on cars before, then again I've seen just about everything.
