Twin Cam 24 Valve V6 3000 Engine Stickers?

Anyone know where I can find the red plate that goes on top of the valve cover? I checked the local dealer, ebay, brian's site, and courtesy and can't find them anywhere...

Ohhh I see... tricky. Couldn't find it on Courtesy just by searching for it for some reason, maybe I'm blind.

Big VE-5 IM/Valve Cover/Intake Spacers/Knock Sensor install is coming up soon!

Haha, yeah... it does look a lot like yours, but I think mine is a tad bit more porous looking for some reason. Maybe not. My engine bay definitely needs a good cleaning too... my hood insulation melted to my strut bar

And now I have to figure out how to get the power valve to open with either an RPM switch or wait to put it on after the 5-spd swap and I have the manual ECU.

Choices choices...

the problem with a simple RPM switch is that you only really want the valve closed at WOT low rpm... so throttle position factors as well as RPM. but if you steal the TPS signal you can wire it up in such a way to make it work properly (may need a relay and a diode or two).

Yeah, my insulation melted to mine also, i just cut(dremeled) some slip down notches into the strut bar holders at the towers so the bar would drop down further..

Easy way= manual ecu
