Good luck on the sale. I've had a hard time finding serious interest in mine as well. Mine's been for sale/trade since the first of April. 02 6spd with all options, 96k miles. Either people are just plain broke, or they want a Maxima for Saturn money.
Nice car. If it wasn't for the miles...I would be all over it.
Just wondering though..are those mostly highway miles? Also, how loud is that exhaust inside the car?
Does this car burn any oil? I've read that some of the 2002 models hado-ring issues.

About 70% highway miles, car runs excellent and has been well maintained, mobil 1 synthetic every 3000 miles. Burns no oil. Exhuast is purely cosmetic, its just the exhaust tip that has been mofified
tolstoy,
I'd jump on that car in a second, but it is just the wrong color. Patience dude, patience.
Somewhat rhetorical question, of the maxima.org readers, how many just won't have an automatic? For me, I had an 89 5 speed that I simply loved. Had a thump in the front bumper that meant I didn't give a flip if the kids hit it with their bikes. But, I had driven an automatic for a while, and I did not realize how much I missed the manual. I mean, 5 speed, loud music, warm weather - oooo, was I going that fast officer?
Again, patience. I'm actually thinking about a 6 speed Sterling Silver that lives in Las Vegas just for the sheer pleasure of driving it back through the Rockies to Atlanta.

Oh man....need to get my 99 sold and i'll be off on a plane to texas next day! Beautiful car for a beautiful price, i'm hoping my max sells soon. This looks pretty much perfect for me except for it being in Texas, but i'm sure we can arrange something if it comes to that! I'll definitely give you a buzz when my car sells.
thanks, not sure why this forum hasn't generated much 'real' offers, if i was in the market for a clean, nicely modified and nicely priced 6 speed i would have jumped on this. i guess its time for autotrader.
