fog bulb burnout issue??

Replaced bulbs on my car with crappy apc ones last time... one was lloking all funky color (maybe the lens?) so i let it go and it burnt out in a few days... brought it back to the store and got a new one... this is on my pass side btw. replaced it, then that burnt out a week later... cause my housing be an issue? maybe with ground or heat?

its pissed me off cause i already rounded off my foglight housing bolts and i dont know were to get new ones... i guess i could get some at nissan...

anyway... this is making it scary for me if i wanna do H3 HIDs...because i dont want to have those $100 dollar bulbs burn out. I am not sure if it is a wire issue, but I do plan on doing the indie fog light mod as soon as I figre this out.... thanks if anyone can help me out with this...

o and what are some good nice and white bulbs brands you recommend? I hate that halogen-ish yellow... it makes me puke looking at it. :-p lol

I have the same problem. my passenger side Narva rally bulb burnt out while back. i had them for over a year so i though it was just their time to go. i replaced them with some yellow h3 i got off of ebay and same thing happened in about 2 weeks. I did do a foglight rewire. thats the only thing i can think of thats causing problems. i have a home made grounding kit so i dont think its the ground. if i get answers. let me know.

Possible leak in the lens/seal? Any moisture bubbles forming in there? A nice white one that I have had positive experiences with are the Sylvania Silverstars.

I love the Sylvania Silverstars too, never had a problem on my 98SE and I have them on whenever my headlights are on.
