burned out dash lights?

Someone refresh my memory.......seems like the hazard light button, and dimmer control dial use to light up. I noticed the other night that they are not......are they suppose to? It's a '95 gxe

I think they are, I have a 95 se and the hazard doesnt light up, neither do my climate control lights..and I replaced them once with some out of a junk yard and wouldnt you know that not one of them worked! I havent investigated the hazard light yet though.it seems this is a pretty common problem with these cars???

I have the same observations too... Looks like it's very common.

so the hazard and dimmer buttons are suppose to light up?
I know I had a couple of switches in my s12 that quite illuminating, and I popped the switches out, and disected them to replace the tiny bulb, which I was able to find a replacement at radio Shack.
Looks like I'll have to try the same thing on my Maxima
