As far as I know
1. Take off door panel
2. There is a black thing in the corner of the window, towards the front of the car
3. Pull that thing of
4. and there is bolts in there and thats as far/close as I got to removing the mirror

WhiteA32 is right there if you want a lil more detail.

- on the bottom of your door panel you will see 2 screws that need removing
- pop off the light cover on the bottom of the door
- remove the light housing
- pop off the window switch (I believe you lift it from the back)
- pop off the little circle in the (don't know the name of it but its that plastic piece that you put your hand in to close the door) for the door and remove the bolt then plastic piece
- pop off plastic piece around door handle.
- gently pop out the bottom of the door panel working your way up
- now lift the whole panel right off (it lips onto the door at the top by your window.
- On the black piece of plastic on the opposite side of the mirror you will see 1 screw remove that and your in
- you will see 3 more screws holding on your mirror and a wiring harness. Unclip the harness then remove the screws then your free to remove the mirror.

Hope that helps. I do this way to often...

I broke the stock one, so I got a new one and need to replace it. Also, I must say that it's a power mirror if that changes anything
