This is how I do it. Very fast, easy, and effective for the car.

Take seafoam container. Open trash can. Place in trash can.

If you're a thrifty bastard like me, there's a shortcut - don't buy seafoam at all.

try searching man! lots of info in here!

seafoam doesn't really do anything man. i had a friend keep buggin me to use it...so i finally did. not really even that much smoke. just do normal regular tune ups and youll be good to go. Seafoam might possibly mess things up too. anyway...search man and do what you would like to!

My only advice is don't let it suck too much up, you don't want to hydrolock the engine.

I used to think Seafoam was a miracle product, but I honestly don't think it does much of anything other than gum up your cats and trash your O2 sensors. I also am not too convinced on its effectiveness. I used to think the white smoke was all the gunk it was burning out, until I tried it on a car with clean intake ports and valves, and clean manifolds as well, and it still belched white smoke...........

Oh, the seafoam totally made the difference. I also cleaned my throttle body at the same time, but I can tell it was the seafoam. I drove around the block and gained 4mpg.
