Passenger Door issue.

The passenger is hard to close. I should push the door three time harder than the other doors. I checked hinges and connection parts. There is no rust and greese. I can't remember when the problem has occured. I think the car had an accident before I bought even though Carfax was clear. How can I fix the issue.

Thanks.

if you open the door and try to lift it up,(from the end opposite the hinge) does it move?

open the door and take off the middle "hinge". its held on by one 10mm bolt. see if that makes any difference. if not grab a 12mm, with the door open loosen the 2 bottom bolts on the body in between the doors and loosen the two top bolts on the door. do not take them out only loosen them less than halfway. close the door gently and tighten them up. that should do it if not bring it to a body shop.

but does it lift up?
if not(or maybe even if it does) the above post is a great suggestion to re-align the door with the striker.

some times the hinges will ware out and cause the door to "sag" down under its own weight causing it to not line up with the striker(thing that holds the door closed) that in turn makes you have to close the door harder to get it to shut all the way
if the hinge sags say 1/8 of an inch ,at the other end of the door (aprox 2feet away) that turns in to say 1/4 or 3/8 of an inch at the striker.
Im just throwing numbers out to demonstrate why it would make a differnce, I am not saying those numbers are what it is.
hope this helps

Sometimes when a door like my room is hard to close, I lift it up slightly to make line up. It makes easy to shut door down. But not this time though.

Thanks.

I just took the hinge off after the door was disassambled. The "check link assembly" which is called by FSM were broken. I think it should be replaced.

Thanks.
