I know most Northern US 4th Gens have had their rad supports replaced. . . at owners cost. . . Nissan says/does nothing about the problem.

Toyota on the other hand is buying back their rusty trucks for MORE than book value! I know this for a fact. My friend's father just got a $12,500 check for his 2000 Taco. I know Nissan doesn't have to buy back our cars. . .but at least replace it!!! or refund us for our already completed repairs!!

the stearlerships re buy them because they know they can be resold with a profit. "taco" pickups are very popular, almost as gm if not more. I know for a fact when my brother bought a new car they took his old toyota pickup for like 2000 some trade in value, and it had alot of problems and rust.

i think this criteria is the crux of the buy back program.

"...with frames so badly rusted that they cannot be repaired."

Toyota mid-size pickups > *

I hear of people getting thier mid-late 80's pickup stolen all the time around these parts. They last for friggen ever. A very popular truck.
