Bumper Paint Job

Hey, I have 98 I30 and its in need of a bit of body work. I live on a busy street and I'll come out and look at my car to notice somebody hit my door, mirror, bumper etc. I plan on moving soon and when i do I'm thinkin about gettin her cleaned up. I found Certifit has bumpers that come primed and just need paint. How much should it run me if the bumpers are off the car ? Should I go get paint myself and bring it with me? Or should i sand them down myself and prime them The front just has paint chipping everywhere, Rear is banged up a bit. I'll take pics tomorrow if you wanna see it, i just have no time to bring it to a shop (NOT MAACO) to check it out

Im good mechanically but know nothing about body work.

You should have reported it to your insurance. If you know nothing about body work, you're best bet is to just take it to a shop for an estimate. To have bumpers painted by a quality shop will probably cost a couple hundred each.

Im pretty sure damage done per incident is less than deductible ($500) and i live in mass with high rates so i don't wanna make anymore claims without a culprit. The doors have minor i dings a scratches that could be buffed out with something.

I will be a couple hundred if it comes primed???

stop by a shop and ask. I had my trunk repainted a few years back and it was $200, so maybe less just for the bumper.

ya for a good quality paint your looking at 2-300 per pannel. luckily i just did both my fenders and bumper for 350( friend of a firiend) at the dealership. Without hookups id say 300 per sounds average. if you are mechaniclay inclined then id say install it yourself it may save you some cash and its fairly easy.
