Nissan 4X4s? I saw the QX4 and it was VQ3.5 powered. Nice I think.

I was telling the wife I really don't want a P-Finder while it still had the old VG sohc engine. But when I look in the engine bay, I was suprised to see the 3.5 VQ. Not that we are seriously looking but it did perk my interest. They are pretty expensive though.

Pathfinder 5-speed 3.5VQ = 250 ponies, Slushbox 3.5VQ = 240 ponies

QX4 Slushbox (only) = 240 ponies

Why Nissan is stupid enough to admit the lower line has more bones than the premium line is beyond me.

The 3.5VQ was for the 2001 model year on both vehicles.

It's interesting that many auto journalists still think it's underpowered......but they are decent vehicles...

For that money, I would call it a day and get the MDX......as I've told you to do for about a year now....
