There is a guy in my school that drives a boxter... he is a real pest. I am trying to find some ways to irritate him. Today I went ahead of him and jam my brakes..... But still i am thinking of ways to irritate him since he love to play with his honk... hehe

i have actually raced one....
it wasnt a boxter s and it wasnt fast....
i think the max can beat it, im not sure, but i beat that boxter....
it was a man in his... 40s or 50s, and he just cant drive so after a big corner, i couldnt see his headlights....
i dont think they are really that fast
the boxter s is 250hp, so i assume that one is pretty quick

i'm sure he wasn't racing

i raced tons of boxters and have beaten all of them, from a stop and highway...they are rated at 6.7 0-60

i have raced 1 boxter s and got smoked....not killed by a ton, but by 80 he had about 3 or 4 cars and was constantly gaining speed

trust me, if you beat a boxter s, you either have some serious mods or he wasn't racing

Damn man, your entire family must be pushing some mad drugs!!

Hmmm....You know most drug dealers use the import/export excuse. I'll take your word for it though, .

You can buy a 20th anniversary cover.

As for racing a boxster - yes my friend's got a Boxster S and lets just say that from a standing start I have no chance (unless he get a bad launch and I get a perfect launch but he quickly reels me in), and from a roll not much better.

How about the 2k2 max?? 6spd... I'd imagine you could take a regular boxster...

Allz, I knowz is that if i'd paid in the vicinity of 50k for a sports car, and still lost to a $23,000 (GXE) 4 door, i'd be pretty ****ed..

-Tom Z.

PS. you are comparing a 2 door sports car against a 4 door grocery getter... (albeit a really wicked grocery getter). Apples and Oranges. I'm not a particular fan of the Boxster (better cars in the price range), but could easily imagine myself in a carerra, or 911...

yeah.. but you're all forgetting that on a track.. that boxster would whoop you guys.
and even some car mags like motortrend i think.. got the boxster to do 0-60 in less than 6.5 seconds. which is faster than the 00-01 max.. dunno about 1/4 mile though.

I eventually ended up shattering my friends ERT 9 puck clutch in his M5 powered E46. Ended up paying $800 to ERT for a new one.

I don't believe in lifting off the gas during a shift.
hehe

that sucks
