Shaved off almost .5 after tune

Went to Orlando speedworld dragway last wednesday with a few .orgers. It was HOT outside. so u know times were slow. My personal best was back in April here in NC when the temps were less than 50*. I ran a 14.7@96. Well on wednesday my best was 15.3 @92 i believe. Pretty upset but i understood the weather sucked also. On monday i went down to Miami and had 95blkmax tune my EU FINALLY!! after 9 months in my closet. He squeezed out ~200 whp and was able to extend the rev limiter too. but we ran out of time and couldnt fully tune above 6500. plus the extend wasnt too smooth either. The next day i got that figured out courtesy of kevlo911s help with the i/j map numbers. so i hit the track this wednesday and man, i had to relearn the launches all over again. i just lost traction all the way through first, and it wheel hops when the mevi kicks in now. my first run was 15.3@92 with a 2.46 60 foot. took out some tire pressure. ran again. better. 15.15@92.43 with a 2.36 60 foot. let it sit for an hour. took out more tire psi, and lowered the 2-step to 3300 rpms. (it was at 4k before so i figured that wasnt helping launches). better again. 15.0@91 with a 2.29 60 ft. Then i lowered the tires to 20 psi and that seemed to do the trick! 2.20 60 foot (best ever BY FAR!) 14.8@92.4. I was excited man. My second best run ever after the 14.7 in this heat! im anxious for some cooler weather and maybe better launches. I feel the max can run even better than this because my brother took it down the track after i did and he ran a 15.0 @ 93.9 with a 2.57 60 foot so if he couldve gotten that down i think it beats my time in my own car. plus somehow he trapped much higher than i did. anyways, what do you guys think??

60 ft: 2.20
1/8: 9.565
mph: 72.94
1/4: 14.885
mph: 92.47

mods in my sig. hopefully its capable of a low 14, which still isnt that great imo considering my mods and goals, but itll come eventually.

Looks like the tune gave you more power under the curve instead of on top end since your trap speed didn't increase much. However, I bet it makes your car feel a lot better in the midrange, makes merging on the freeway a lot more fun.

Good stuff! It was nice running with you @ Orlando Speedworld. I need to run in 50 degree weather. This Florida heat sucks. I don't think I have ever ran when the weather was under 80 degrees. Nice tune!

Yea 18-20 psi I find works best at that track. The track prep is really bad over there when i use to go so what your describing spinng...ive been there... Are you just dumping or are you riding it hard until you can put it all down?
