Hardwiring Valentine Dectector

Is there a link to a write up some one can give me? I have searched and not found anything. I would like to see some pictures of peoples set ups and how they did it if pos.

hmm.. what if you were to remove the LED dispalay from the unit and extend it out of the case to another location... (a32 i would use the clock space)

then mount the unit up top by the mirror. then go to radio shack buy one of those project boxes and cut the box at an angle along one end so it conforms to the windshield and place that toward the top of the liner(to cover the radar detectors body)
.. this way it will jsut look like there is a unit there (i.e on cars that have alot of Day/night/rain etc. sensors they mount a similar box type aparatus behind the mirror... cause if a cop looks @ your car's inside he can obviously see it mounte atop the mirror no?

there is a thread that i couldn't find that someone hardwired their detector and had the remote display next to the dimmer switch on the bezel, but i could not find it
