Aiming HID Lights?
Aiming HID Lights?
Well, I got Osram 9004 HID kit for my 4th gen, but I was wondering if you guys have got any pointers on aiming the lights? Or what Nissan themselves say about aiming the HIDs?
I think I've got it where I like it, but always better to get some expert advice.
Thanks in advance!

It’s best to do this in the evening if you can. For accurate adjustment you must place your Maxima on a level surface 25’ away from a light colored wall. If you don’t have an area like this at your house, try the back of the local strip mall or a parking garage. Tape off 25’ and put a piece of electrical tape on the ground as a guide.
Turn on the headlights and place them on Low Beam. Place a towel over one of the lights. This will allow you to see the pattern from each light. Now measure with a tape measure from the ground to the CENTER of your headlamp on your car. Then take that measurement and deduct 3" and place a piece of tape or Post it note at the exact center of that measurement. Now aim you lights to hit the center of that tape or post it note.
This is the best way to do it without glaring or blinding other people. The reason for you to measure to the center of your headlamp from the ground is because many people have modified their suspension and springs to make the car lower than it normally is.
Hope this helps.
