Well i took the car out last night and it seemed to be maing more power than it did before. I was smoking the M/T slicks the whole way but managed to pull a 12.9@106. Not what i was looking for but still a new pb for me.

Nice time but a bid odd to me. You are running 304hp/310tq... you should at least be running low 12s with that power AND that impressive 60'. Also i don't get it you said you smoked the slicks the whole way. How did you pull such a good 60' if you just spun? Nice run tho.

He got into boost and the tires broke loose like crazy or he spun them after grabbing gears.

 

Yes i have a 3 inch downpipe but thats the only thing i changed.

There actually has been some really nice cars out this year. The track is still as ****ty as it has always been . You should come to the street car chaos which i believe is this friday.

Nah i just didnt eat all day before i went lol.

Im running 15psi as of right now. I didnt get a chance to retune my car so i left the boost alone all night. Im leaving the line at 4300 rpm and slipping the clutch a little.
Well when i launched the car would pull like a raped ape out of the hole , then once i came under boost i would loose traction. I was doing it with street tires but wasnt expecting to light up the slicks.

Nah its holding all 15psi now but for some reason everyone was trapping low last night. There was a C6Z06 that was only trapping 110 so i don't know if it was the air or what. But i was having traction issues so that hindered alot of accel

I think your lower trap might have something to do with running 15psi in those slicks. Just gotta find the right balance between traction and too much pressure. Ive seen people loose a couple mph because they had a little too little pressure in the slicks.

Congrats on 12's though. Hopefully before you pull the 3.0 you can get into the 110+ mph club!

 

I personally didn't see my traps go down until I dropped below 11psi in my slicks - but they were totally different size and shape than his are.
