Woohooo....Nissan is "fixing" my tranny

I brought my car back yesterday for them to fix the trunk lid TSB, and I told them to check out the transmission. It was slipping, mostly between the 1-2 ****fs. The tranny would shift too early (the rpms don't drop with the shift). So they should get a new Solenoid Pack in about 2 days. We will see what effect this will have. Hopefully it will fix it.

I had both the solenoid and TCM replaced and what a difference! Mine was also shifting funny between 1st and 2nd gears.

Was that all under warranty? Did you have the solenoid and the TCM replaced at the same time?

Yes, I had both replaced at the same time and both were under warranty at no charge. It was the same time when the tech installed my Y-Pipe

They installed your y-pipe?? haha....So if the solenoid doesn't do the trick, they will try a new TCM?

They should but ask them to replace both at the same time so you don't have to make 2 trips
