so what happens whent he maf goes out?>

fixin to take a 10 hour drive and want to put on my intake, if the stock maf blows, what happens?
loss of power?
loss of gas mileage?
car does not run?
or just a stupid check engine light?

can not afford the cost of replacing the maf rite now but want to put the intake i bought 3 months ago on

if the MAF goes - you wont be able to rev above 2500 - to see what its like unplug the MAF...

if maf goes, revs won't go past 2500 rpm and therefore you won't be able to go faster than about 40 mph unless you're going don't a steep hill.
