200,000 mile club

I'm at 195,350!

It's crazy I never thought I'd own a car with this many miles. Anyone hit the 200k mark yet? My next car won't be a Max but I hope this thing holds up at least another year. I heard auto loans are extraordinarily tough to get nowadays.

congrats on the mileage! I would love to get to those miles someday. However, i think the part about auto loans may be incorrect. I think they are easier now. With all these "guaranteed financing" lots and crazy high interest rates they'll put anyone in a new car. I'll just stick with my max till she dies or is lagging interest.

if your next car wont be a max dont count on hitting 200k reliably, ive owned 4 maximas my 1owner 3rd gen had 250k then it was totaled, my 2nd gen had a little over 305k then the flywheel went and i didnt wanna sink $500+ back in it for a clutch job. Man i wish i would have kept my 2nd gen i honestly liked it better than my 01 5th gen but its a tie with my 03 5.5gen. Those 2nd gens were built like horses with 300k that car got me through lots of snow safely and was better than my crown vic for my old security guard job lol.

stick with nissan, honda, or toyota and keep up on your service and you can get up to 200k again easy.

My very first car (95 honda accord) which originally was my dad's which he bought new had 664,935 when i got hit on the freeway by a semi that had lost control in the snow and totaled it.

I'm at about 195k with my '03 Auto. I hope it lasts well beyond 200k! I thought I was going to break 200k by years end but I haven't been driving it much lately so it'll probably be early next year.

Wow that's incredible, built like a vault. I'm sure Maxima can get at least 500k miles on it. Since I have seen it can go that far, if maintain correctly. I am still at 58k on my odo, I haven't driven her that much as I had in the past. Since i've been driving the Benz a lot

236,000 on my 2k Maxima se. a/c went out about a month ago but I've notice gas has increased incredibly, just ordered a speed sensor, and had radiator and fans replaced 6 months ago besides that running strong. looking to a 03 soon.

Last year for me was all about the cooling system.

Replaced both Radiator hoses (cracking and slow leak), Thermostat (thought that was the culprit with an overheating incident but it was actually the stupid Cooling fan not kicking on). Both Fans (Cooling Fan wouldn't turn on but bought both because it was only 25 bucks more).

Oh had a cooling system flush as well.

Those metallurgical experts in Japan seem to know how to over engineer their products and I think, our domestic three are finally catching that bug....

168,500 or so right now, at the pace I've been driving the past couple of years, I'll hit 200,000 sometime in the summer of 2011.

Owned my Chevelle 8 years, went past 200k on it, also both my Celicas (a '79 and an '85), my Accord had 280,285 on it when I sold it and my 626 had 163,300 miles when it was totaled. I get my money's worth out of the cars I buy!

Man...I just broke 100,000 last month on my '03 GLE and thought that was high. It's been giving me problems ever since (rough idle).

I also have about a 168k, I think somewhere near 168800 miles. Can't wait to be part of the 200k mile club! Only problems I'm having are radiator fan motor, starter, and 02 sensors a long time ago. The car runs like a raped ape, and we drive it like a bat out of hell sometimes.
