These are my old runs before I added the VI and It was my second/third run with the slicks before 1 went flat, but the Tundra was no joke I barely beat it my 60 w/ slicks were 2.2 and 2.3 I just couldn't get off the line clean w/o bogging.

On my 1st run I launched at 2k and yep bogged nasty. I tried Launching at around 3500 but It stilled bogged, my 60 in that run was 2.3. Next run I launched at 4000 and still bogged a little bit but 60' came down to 2.2 but on this run I got a flat so I didn't have a chance to do any more testing. I'm hoping to bring them down to 2.1 maybe 2.0 with good prep next track day Nov. 1st. I'll keep you guys posted and load some more videos then.

you should try a quick slip from 5000 or so...that should get you a 1.9xx

To let you know, i was pulling consistant 1.7 60ft's on slicks. You dont dump the clutch you slip it man. Thatll cut you better 60's

What other mods do you have? I saw runs of 14.8-15.2@92, which seems awfully low considering you do have an 00vi. It almost sounds like its not opening?

Oh and fyi, if your persistant on dumping the clutch with slicks, try something higher. Ive done some 4500-5000RPM clutch drops on DR's which has netted me some sub 2.0 60's. IMO a quick slip is much better, takes a lot of the streess off your tranny/axles.

I had them at around 15psi but I noticed by mph dropped from 94/94 to like 90/91/92. I'm thinking of rasing it to 20 psi next time I'm out.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to the track on Nov. 1st so I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

I didn't have the 00 Vi installed at the time of these runs . I only had the I/Y/E/ Fidanza flywheel, MIdPipe and techno. ECU. and I was running on 17 alti wheels with 225/45/17 all around on all the runs except the 3 or so with the slicks.

Ahhh makes sense then! Well get back to the track and SPANK those cars. 00vi/Mevi makes a HUGE difference over the USIM.

My best with i/y/e flywheel, udp, and balding street tires was 14.59@95, i went to the mevi + jwt, and with the same tires i pulled 14.1@99.6mph, with a 2.12 60ft. I know if i had better tires i could have pulled high 13's.

Go represent what the 3.0 can do!!

Man that is the only thing I need (extended rev limiter) I've been looking for a used EU but so far no luck. High 13's is my goal. Do you guys think I can attain that with what I have? w/o tune.

Depends. Are you running the DEK injectors? If you are, i believe that causes a bit of richness.

Assuming you have all the supporting bolt ons with the 00vi, 13's isnt out of the question, once you get it tuned, you should be fairly deep into the 13's with slicks/DR's.

This is of course your able to cut a sub 2.0-2.1 60ft. And it is very very possible, with the proper clutch modulation and finesse, i personally have cut a few 2.1's on balding street tires.
