We are changing the injectors and connectors on my brothers 92 GXE. His injectors that are currently in the engine have some sort of dome cover over the ends of the injectors, while the "new" ones that we got have a 4 pronged pintal cap. What gives? Are these injectors interchangable? According to the colored dots we have a set of dark green dots, and then a set of yellow dot injectors....will these work together? Please let me know it needs to be done tonight if the parts will work. Thanks.

 

They will be fine, the prong type pintle caps are just a updated design.

 

I just had to swap out mine recently and came across the same thing. The injectors for your year were merged with the previous years and had a small update in the design. Just make sure to lube up the rings when install and don't freak out if it gives you white smoke for a while until the lube burns out.
