i want either the greddy sp2 or cattman. i want a lil expert oppinion brian told me piping goes from 2.5" to 2" to the axel back, nd he said it improves the velocity nd sound how is that better to go down in size???

umm... i wish i could help ya on that... but the only thing i can tell ya is... (and im not sure on this.. im just taking a shot in the dark, so someone please correct me. lol) that maybe the .5 inches in decrease of size helps the velocity by compacting the air and helps pushes it through harder... but i could be totally off... lol.

but i wouldnt doubt brian.. he's incredibly knowledgeable and has never steered anyone i know wrong.. anyone i talk to only has good things to say about him.

Brian and I have had extensive conversations on this topic. Here is the theory: U have to know basic geometry. The formula for area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. That is the area in which the exhaust has to pass through. If you calculate the area of a circle for a 2.5 and then twin 2.25" exhausts, you will find that the twin 2.25" exhaust has MORE area, and thus there should be better flow, than with a single 2.5" exhaust. Splitting it to the smaller pipes should theoretically not make any loss of power. Course i have a single 3" exhaust but thats for another thread

i had the same experience with a Z06 driver. i was coming back from the drag strip and was playing a bit of cat and mouse and i pulled up to him at a stop light and he asked me what i had in it cause it sounded f*%#ing mean. i thought it was pretty cool coming from a Z06 driver.

Pride/Ego +1

if and when i get another car ill be getting a Fujita for sure as the first mod

I have the Greddy SP2 and the fujita. That vet most come out once a month. There are plenty of 6th gens. in the NYC area with a fujita installed. Check out nycmaximas.org
