~~(some advice?)Starting Issue~~

Hey, so I moved from Cali 80*+ degree weather to Oregon 30-40* weather.....and I never really had starting problems in Cali. Over here, if I park in the garage its not a big deal it starts fine. However, if I go out, or drive the car and leave it parked for a while(let it cool down), the car has this realllly weird starting issue. Its cranking perfectly fine, and does start after about 3-4 seconds....but it seems like it really wants to start and something isnt letting it....I searched but only found warm starting issues...hmm..

after holding it letting the starter crank for 3-4 seconds it slowly starts up at like 2-400 and I try to let it go to 1000 on its own, but have had a few incidents were I pressed the gas to help it start. It isn't a huge deal b/c i barely drive the 5spd and its always garaged, but I would love to have some advice on how to get it fixed......thanks orgers =]

Edit: btw Some people have said to add a ground from the starter....but I thought about it, if it didn't ever have ground problems before I dont think it would have it now? any pros wna let me know? (WIZ were ya at!! lol)

Most likely the ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor). Cheap part, easy to swap.

Great pic nhaven!!

I'm like Batman. When they put up the distress signal, Batman shows up.

When I hear my name being called out, I answer.
