I was looking into the Stealin SC too at one point, but with all the negative posts I'm a little hesitant. Yo_its_ok is currently working on an SC kit with different components and (HP/boost) kits. I believe it's due to come out next spring...I'm waiting for that before I drop $$$ on an SC from Stealin... my .02

Thats what i paid for it. Good or not thats another story! But if your looking for boost you have 2 options. Either go with Stillen, or look for yo_its_ok on the org. he is coming out with a custom kit for the Max. His kit sounds pretty good but gotta see it He'll give you all the info you need. If you do go with Stillen its also good just have to make some mods if you plan on running really high BOOST like some people here...Ask Y2kev for more info he is running like 11psi with his midget.

Might be worth awiting for yo_its_ok plus if the price is right he might be able to make enough profit for people going to him to keep the costs low. Not only that but he is a .org member and can heklp you on the board with questions.

Costs

Yo -Its Ok posted that dealer cost is $3100.00 for a s/c kit for a 2k+ Maxima. That is clearly not correct. The cost to dealers is way above that.

The 99 and less kits are less money.

Regards

another alternative is ship a SC kit over from taiwan, the thing has an aftercooler, piping and all for $3000 us dollars... i just haven't had time to look into it while i was there.. i think it has adition injectors in it for extra fuel delivery, i'm not sure what brand makes the SC but it's mounted the same way as stillens.. the SC was meant for the 2000cc cefiro, but i dont' doubt the possibility that ic an fit on a maxima with slight modifications. i'll scan a picture of it when i'm not lazy.. i never mentioned it before because i'm not real interested in hearing comments like "it's made in taiwan, it might break" because those types of remarks tend to get to me..

Isnt the kit that Avalon sells a Stillen SC kit? If so...I've read on here before that it would be better to buy it from Avalon because they'd give you a better deal...isnt this true??? I got a quote fom Avalon of about $3800 while Stillen was closer to 4k!!! Who's better to order from? Oh yeah and can someone break down that PSI scale again...in lehman's terms please...ONE!

Drive on down to STILLEN and ask

You can buy the Vortech V1 or V2 @ $1450(retail) and I know dealer pricing was around 1100-1200, so technically...STILLEN has some $2000+ on brackets, nuts, bolts, piping, fpr, and whatever they include in their kits ?
Amazing...
that's what iw as thinking.. coldn't have been 3.1k for cost... "but those bolts are super duper high grade alloys" OK i'm going to shut up with this nonesense about how much they get their stuff for, because even if someone show's me order forms for parts with prices that exceed 2k i'm still not gonna believe it..

Yes the one avalon has is stillens. There is no diff the call stillen and get it shiped there then ship it to you. Get it from avalon cuz it's cheaper it's teh same thing with the poop warrenty that comes with it. Stillens is like 4300 while avalons is close to 3800 but thats a few hundred you save to put into install and fixing problems when they acuur.
The psi scale is 6 psi the one that comes with it is 3.6
3.48 is 7.5
3.33 is 9
3.25 is 10 Do more tranny work
3.012 is o my god speed 11 psi
From there get a new tranny
