exhaust cutout 5.5 Gen

I like having my Maxima sound mostly stock, but I was wondering how an exhaust cutout would work on my car for the dragstrip. I plan to add nitrous in the spring, and I was wondering if a cutout would benefit me at all since I'm keeping the stock exhaust system. Where would be a good place to install it? Would it fit before the resonator?

why don't you just replace the whole exhaust? headers, y-pipe, b-pipe and a good muffler. would do you a lot better in my opinion!

I appreciate the opinion, but the point of all of that is to free up the exhaust. The cutout frees up the exhaust as well, but its waaaaaaaaaay too loud for normal driving. I want to only use it for the strip only. That way my car sounds completely stock and at the track when I want to use nitrous I'll open the cutout. Plus a header back exhaust is quite a bit more expensive and not necessary for what I want to do with my car.
