04 Catalytic Converter Still Covered?

Catalytic converter is plugged; smells like sulfur upon hard acceleration. Called a muffler shop and they told me that Nissan has an 8 year/80k mile warranty on emissions. Is this true? I don't want to argue with the stealership if I am wrongly informed.

It's okay. Nissan Consumer Affairs is sending me the documentation to prove that this is covered under an emissions warranty/can be found on NISSANUSA.COM. I had a check engine code and it disappeared, but I'm sure with the ABS and brake lights on, there's lots of codes to look at.

Um, cant really tell what it smells. It smells like an old car, from the exhaust. Usually new cars dont smell much from the exhaust when they run, but mine smells the "old car exhaust", I cant tell what.

2004 max with 50K miles
