Dealer reminders

When the dealers send me those postcards to remind me about 15,000. 30,000. etc "checkups", I throw them away as I see the visit as a chance for the dealer to try to sell me goods and services I may not need.
Does anybody see a value in spending a lot of $$$ on those checkups???
Thanks.

to keep your warranty and normal maintenance is never ill spending. Granted it is prob cheaper elsewhere, so keep your receipts. Also, if something messes up, your nissan dealer most likley did it and will fix it. Cant say that for most other places...depending on if you stealer is reputable.
