First of all, I searched, and all I could find was relating to 'flashing' light.

I installed new speakers with no drama's, the headunit went in with no drama's, but as soon as I locked it in, the clock died out, and the airbag has been on, solid. 4 beeps when the key is pulled from the ignition.

I pulled it all back out and checked, no open wires, no shorts, no blown fuses, it looks all sweet.
I'll try that 'stand on one leg, turn the key on, open the door, turn the key off, cross your fingers, then start the car' thing,
Any other suggestions?
As long as that light is on, I'm not moving the car, unless its straight to a pro.

UPDATE:
Tried the Ignition on + driver's side door 5 times in 7 seconds trick, didnt work.
Central locking + Power windows cutting in/out
Digital touch entry not responding on either side.

 

You wired something up wrong mang, first check the little fuses in the fuse box, but most likely you blew one of the fusible links(located in the black box under the hood) look on the top of them, their is a little window, so you can see if it's blown..

But first, disconnect the radio you installed before replacing any flown fusible links, or fuses.

 

Are there any specific fuses, or any fuse is a possibility?
I checked the ones I thought were relevant, like radio, clock, airbag (with the battery disconnected), I'll check the rest of them, and do a proper check with a multimetre (it was 2 AM when I checked last night).

check the electron bat. fuse for sure..if no, then check them all, and the bigger fuses under the hood..

 

I re-checked all the fuses, and it was actually the Electron. Bat.....it was such a small blow in the fuses I didnt notice it last night.

Guess I'll slow down and check things properly the next time I pissed off with my car.

I'm still getting 4 beeps when the key is pulled from the ignition, but that should just be an ECU reset, yeah?

 

the 4 beeps could just be your radio reminding you to take off the face plate, unless you are referring to a horn beep in which case I would check for whatever anti-theft system the car has.

 

That 4 beeps is gone now.
It was only happening when the car had been turned on and engine running, THEN turned off that it would beep, if I turned it to ON (ACC) and turned it off without running the engine it wouldnt occur.

I'd left the battery disconnected this morning, while I was checking and changing fuses, now its gone....maybe it was the ECU, maybe it was the head unit.
Problem solved I guess ?

Hey Niccos. I know this thread is old but I wanted to be clear on something. Did replacing the fuse cause the airbag light to go off?

 

yeah did replaceing that fuse cause the light to turn off?
