Awesome! Now THAT really does take time, dedication, and skill!

I, myself, hope one day I will be able to turbo my 3rd Gen (but that's a LONG way off...)

You are gonna LOVE it, the things you can do to those old ECUs is mind blowing. What shipping did you end up using? When will you get that bad boy?

Thanks all for the kind words about my car, I've been working on this for years and years and Im very proud

Sounds really good. Still putting together things for boosting my 3rd gen. I'm sure that your dad would be proud and surely lives through your creation.

Nice to see the cat's finally out of the bag . At least now you can drive it again; I know how much time and effort you put into getting this thing back on the road, and it's a hell of a lot more worthy to be on the road than my car is.

Sorry to hear about your dad tho. I know he meant alot to you, but at least you can always let your Maxima addiction bring you fond memories of him.

sweet! i know chris is gonna try to make it.. benstoked is coming too (long drive for sure), i'm going, i'm trying to get pearl93ve to come, if matt (friend, not the mod) still has his then he's coming, am_blackmax is gonna be there, and of course aaron92se. it's gonna be a good year for 3rd gens there i think. i actually met chris at maxus08, except i didn't get to see his car in person cuz he had JUST started rebuilding his turbo setup and working on his engine, and i didnt actually go to his house. but i hung out with him at the picnic on sunday. sadly there was only a few of us there (me, chris, traxtar044, maxmaxima91, maxitech, jonmandude, colombianmax and his GF who also has a 3G)

Agreed. I think 3rd gens will show in good numbers. NYC will have some going in the caravan that myself & some others will be leading. I will most likely bring mines out instead of the 4th gen.

The only thing that I have done was move from a 2.5" to a 3" exhaust from the turbo back, which helped a little bit but not huge. I can start to build boost by 2500rpm or less and 17psi by 3500. Im just using the z31 turbo exhaust manifolds so I'm sure a tubular manifold would offer much better spool up but for now it makes plenty of power.

BTW, the lower tie bar goon made for me pretty much seemed to ELIMINATE torque steer. Is that possible? Has anyone had similar results with a lower tie bar?
