Torque converter

Does anyone knows how to fix a torque converter or where i can take it to that will not charge an arm and a leg: for 97' I30.

Im pretty sure it would have to be replaced if its bad. As to where to take it... you might want to ask in the regional forums for your area on here.

dropping a used good tranny would be a better decision.
